My Favorite Coffee Shops Around Bellingham

Latte with foam art on a wooden café table—cozy local coffee shop ambiance perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends.

Locus – One of my absolute go-to spots in downtown Bellingham. Their coffee is not your average cup—always rich, bold, and unique. I especially love their white coffee drink—smooth and packed with flavor. It’s the perfect place to stop in, slow down, and enjoy something from their creative breakfast menu. Whether I’m meeting a client or sneaking in a quiet moment alone, Locus never disappoints.

Lakeline – Tucked away in the Silver Beach neighborhood, Lakeline is a gem. It’s a peaceful spot to catch up on work or simply enjoy an incredible cup of coffee. Their menu is refreshingly original, offering specialty drinks and bites you won’t find anywhere else. A favorite stop when I’m out on the east side of town.

Woods Coffee – My daily go-to when I need something quick but still crave quality. With five locations around Bellingham, it’s always convenient. I’m especially hooked on their blueberry spinach smoothie and a classic Americano—my almost-daily combo. Locally owned and always consistent, Woods is a hometown staple.

11th Hour – Small, quiet, and tucked at the end of State Street in downtown Bellingham, 11th Hour is the kind of place that feels like a secret. Open Wednesday through Sunday, it’s incredibly cozy and private—perfect for a quiet moment with a good cup. I absolutely love their lion’s mane latte—it’s earthy, rich, and totally unique.

The Firehouse – Walk-up or sit-down, this cozy Fairhaven spot has a special small-town charm. I’ve had some great conversations here after walking the neighborhood with clients. There’s something comforting about this place, and their flat whites are my personal favorite. It’s a perfect little break in one of Bellingham’s most charming areas.
