Local Favorite Spotlight June: Elk Street Tavern

One of the highlights of June was celebrating a friend's birthday at Elk Street Tavern, and it reminded me why it's one of my favorite spots in downtown Bellingham.

The menu is full of incredible options, making it hard to choose just one dish. Whether you're sharing the fresh seafood platter or enjoying their perfectly cooked Burger & Frites, you really can't go wrong. Every plate that came to our table was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.

Their cocktail menu is equally impressive, but what really stood out to me were their non-alcoholic shrubs. They were refreshing, flavorful, and thoughtfully crafted—proof that you don't need alcohol to enjoy a creative, elevated drink.

Whether you're planning a date night, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for an outstanding dinner in Bellingham, Elk Street Tavern is a place that's well worth a visit. Great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional drinks make it a local favorite that I'll definitely be returning to.
